Perkins Roofing Corp. participated in the Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida (RCASF) Make-A-Wish Corporate Challenge to benefit Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Inc., an organization renowned for its exemplary educational support services, and successfully raised a total of $5,625 as of September 17, 2019, surpassing its original goal of $5,000. Perkins Roofing has been a licensed and insured member of RCASF since 2018 and this was its first year participating in the charity challenge.
RCASF is a Beacon of Hope for Terminally Ill Children
All proceeds benefit local South Florida terminally-ill children and their families by granting “wishes” to brighten spirits and fulfill children’s biggest wishes through Make-A-Wish Southern Florida based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
These wishes can range from meeting a celebrity or going on a dream vacation to receiving specialized medical treatment or equipment, sometimes of an educational nature. The roofing industry’s support helps create lasting memories for these children and their families during a difficult time in their lives.
Through various fundraisers, events, and partnerships, the roofing industry in South Florida has raised significant funds to support Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. Their generosity and dedication to giving back to the community make a meaningful impact on the lives of these children and their families.

Looking Ahead: Perkins Roofing’s Charitable Mission
Perkins Roofing sponsors a charitable non-profit organization monthly and for the month of September, is currently supporting Convoy of Hope and Samaritan’s Purse for Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas. As part of their sponsorship, Perkins Roofing is donating a percentage of their September sales towards these relief efforts. Additionally, their team members are volunteering their time to help pack and deliver aid supplies to those affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.
