Privacy Policy

When you submit the form on our contact page, we collect what you type into it: your name, and whichever of email or phone number you provide, plus any service you select and any message you write. If you voluntarily use the salt-water distance checker or roof calculator, you also enter a property address and may mark a roof point and water-edge point, or trace a roof outline, on a satellite map. There is no account creation and we do not collect payment details through this website.

The compact Google reviews control is available across this website. It shows dated public fallback figures without contacting Google. If you open the panel or visit the customer-reviews page, the browser may request the current branch rating, review count and up to five review excerpts from Google Maps Platform. That request is made only after you choose Accept all in the cookie card (this is the "maps" choice in that card), and never while your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Google then receives the ordinary browser and network information needed to answer that request. Review authors' public names, profile images, dates and text are displayed as Google supplies them and link back to Google Maps.

The website may keep only Google's branch Place ID in local browser storage so it can request the correct office efficiently on a later visit. It does not store Google review text, reviewer profiles, ratings or review counts in browser storage, and the Place ID does not identify the visitor. This use is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

When you run a check, the address you typed is sent to Perkins' server. The server looks it up with the Esri ArcGIS World Geocoder to get an approximate map coordinate. If Esri does not return a close enough match, the server asks the U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder instead. Perkins then sends that coordinate—not the street address—to OpenStreetMap (api.openstreetmap.org) for nearby shoreline data and to the U.S. Geological Survey NHDPlus High Resolution map service for mapped water features. The salinity-gauge panel uses USGS readings that Perkins has already stored, so that step sends nothing to USGS. These map sources do not determine whether water is salt or brackish and may omit relevant canals, marshes, tributaries or waterbodies. The estimate is calculated for the current request and is not a property survey. Perkins does not save that address or the map points merely because you run a check, and they are not sent to website analytics. If you later choose to carry the result into an estimate request, the address and screening summary become part of the information you deliberately submit to us.

Two parts of the checker run directly in your browser. While you type, the browser sends the partial address text to Esri to show address suggestions. After you submit an address, the overhead satellite view loads Esri World Imagery map tiles, so Esri receives the requests needed to draw the visible map area, including standard browser and network information such as your IP address. These requests are part of the tool you choose to use and happen only when you use it. Esri describes its handling in the Esri Privacy Statement, and OpenStreetMap in the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy. The checker does not use Google Maps, does not use browser location services and does not track your movements.

When you type an address into the roof calculator, your browser sends the text directly to Esri's ArcGIS World Geocoder for address suggestions and to find the address's map coordinate. The satellite map you draw on loads Esri World Imagery tiles directly in your browser, so Esri receives the same standard browser and network information described above. The roof area is calculated in your browser from the outline you draw or confirm.

When it is available, Perkins' server sends the map coordinate—not your address, name or contact details—to the Google Solar API to try to measure the roof automatically. Google explains its handling in the Google Privacy Policy. When you submit the calculator, your address, contact details, roof outline and choices are sent to Perkins and handled like the other form information described below. To add a picture of the roof to the estimate emails, Perkins' server sends only the roof-outline coordinates to Esri's printing service, which draws them over Esri World Imagery. Your name, address, email and phone number are not part of that request. If the picture cannot be made, the email is sent without it.

Some service-area pages also show an overhead map of a region built from the same Esri World Imagery tiles. Those maps do not ask for or send an address; Esri receives only the ordinary requests needed to draw the visible area.

Perkins videos are hosted on YouTube. On most pages a video loads only after you press play and allow Google services. On the video watch pages (perkinsroofing.net/videos/) the player is part of the page so search engines can find the video: it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), never plays on its own, and is designed not to store YouTube viewing data until you press play. Opening a watch page still sends your IP address and browser details to YouTube (Google), as loading any embedded player does. See Google's privacy policy.

Information submitted through the contact form is stored in our database and emailed to our office so a member of the Perkins Roofing Corp. team can follow up with you about your roofing project. If you separately choose one or both optional text-message preferences, we may also use the mobile number you provide for the specific message category or categories you selected. We do not sell or rent this information.

Text-message consent is optional and is not a condition of buying any product or service. The contact form provides separate, unchecked choices for non-marketing service messages and marketing messages. We use a mobile number for each category only when the person providing that number chooses the corresponding option. A recipient can opt out at any time by replying STOP and can request help by replying HELP.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that provide support services, such as customer service or message delivery. All other use-case categories exclude text-message originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with third parties.

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure and are accessible to Perkins Roofing Corp. staff for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We keep submissions only as long as reasonably needed to follow up on the request.

When a text-message preference is selected, the submission time, selected message category and disclosure version are retained with the lead. Consent, opt-out and suppression records may be retained longer than ordinary lead details when reasonably needed to document messaging permission and honor a request not to send further messages.

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they view. It is cookieless — it does not set tracking cookies, does not use a persistent identifier, and does not follow you across other websites. Nothing else loads until you choose Accept all in the cookie card; closing the card or choosing Essential only keeps the site in this cookieless mode.

If you choose Accept all, the site also loads Google Analytics 4. It measures visits, referral and campaign sources, approximate geography, device and browser categories, pages viewed, scrolling, outbound links, video engagement and actions such as estimate-link, phone, directions, office-finder and successful form-submission events. The same choice turns on Google's advertising consent signals (advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization), so Google Ads can tell which of our ads led to a visit, call or estimate request and may use that visit for ad personalization, such as showing our ads again. Google Signals stays off. With Essential only or a Global Privacy Control signal, every Google advertising signal stays denied.

The same choice also loads Microsoft Clarity, a session-replay tool that records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and anonymised session replays) so we can fix confusing layouts. Clarity does not start until you choose Accept all. Clarity masks text you type into forms by default, and the estimate form is additionally marked so its contents are never captured. Microsoft describes its handling in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Withdrawing your choice stops Clarity on this device.

Accept all also loads the Meta Pixel on our roof calculator and the pages you reach from our Facebook and Instagram ads, so we can tell which ads led to an estimate request. Meta receives the page you viewed, an estimate-request event and, if you submit the calculator, a hashed form of your email and phone that we send server-side to match the event; we never send your address, message or documents. You can opt out here at any time with Essential only, and Meta explains its handling in the Meta Privacy Policy. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps the pixel off automatically.

Analytics events do not include the name, email address, phone number, message, property address or ZIP code that you give Perkins. Google explains how it handles information from sites using its services in its business data notice. You can change your choice at any time with privacy settings.

The site may send a browser security-policy violation report when a page attempts to load a resource outside its expected sources. Before a report is written to Cloudflare Workers Logs, the website removes query strings, does not retain script samples or the full browser policy, and keeps only the page path, violated directive, resource origin and path, status and source location needed to investigate the event. These reports do not intentionally contain contact-form entries, property addresses or map-service API-key query parameters. Cloudflare's sampled operational logs are used only to secure and troubleshoot the site.

You are never required to submit the contact form to browse this site or to reach us — you can always call Miami at 305-642-7663, Jupiter at 561-559-7663, or use the secure contact form instead. If you've submitted the form and want your information removed from our records, contact us using any of those methods and we will honor that request.

A deletion request to Perkins applies to records Perkins controls; it cannot guarantee deletion from an independent provider's operational logs or backups.

Perkins Roofing does not sell personal information for money. If you choose Accept all, the Google advertising signals and the Meta Pixel described above let those companies measure and personalize ads, which some state laws treat as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Choosing Essential only (or never choosing) opts you out, and we honor browser Global Privacy Control signals by keeping every optional Google and Meta feature off, even after an earlier Accept all. You can reopen privacy settings at any time. A direct request may also be sent through the secure contact form.

Opt-out preference signals (Global Privacy Control). We treat a browser's Global Privacy Control signal — the Sec-GPC: 1 request header and the navigator.globalPrivacyControl setting — as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. While the signal is present, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel stay off, and an earlier Accept all choice is not applied. When the signal has been processed, the site footer shows "Opt-Out Preference Signal Honored" next to this link. The signal is specific to the browser that sends it and does not identify you, so we do not link it to other requests unless you also contact Perkins directly. Our support for the signal is declared at /.well-known/gpc.json.
