Perkins Roofing on YouTube
Perkins Roofing publishes roofing education on YouTube at @perkinsroofingcorp, where Tim Kanak explains how South Florida roofs are built and how they fail. It is the same material as our written guides, shown rather than described — useful if you would rather watch a detail than read about it.

The channel
What is on the Perkins Roofing YouTube channel?
Roofing education, published by the company and presented by Tim Kanak. The through-line is the same one that runs through this site: a roof is an assembly rather than a covering, and the parts that decide whether it lasts are mostly the parts you cannot see from the street.
Video suits that subject better than text does in places. A flashing detail, the difference between a sealed deck and a bare one, what a crew finds when the old covering comes off — these are easier to show than to describe. If you are weighing a quote or trying to understand what a contractor told you, watching the detail being discussed is often the fastest route to understanding it.
The channel is at youtube.com/@perkinsroofingcorp, and each Perkins video also has its own page here, listed under Perkins Roofing videos. We deliberately do not quote a video count or a subscriber count here: those numbers change, and we only publish figures we can stand behind.
In writing
Prefer to read it instead?
The same ideas, written out and structured for reference.
What you can and cannot assess from the ground after a hurricane, and why you should not walk a damaged roof.
Every roofing article on the site, from leak diagnosis to the repair-or-replace decision.

Where else does Perkins Roofing post?
The company's other channels are listed in the footer of every page on this site, and gathered on the Perkins updates page. Completed jobs — the finished version of what the videos discuss mid-installation — are in the project portfolio, and the services themselves are set out under South Florida roofing services.
