A luxurious nine building villas community located on the prestigious Fisher Island, a barrier island located off the coast of Miami Beach, was in need of a reroof. Perkins Roofing delivered fast and professional roofing services to the community composed of nine buildings with each building being two stories tall overlooking the ocean. Perkins Roofing completed a handmade clay barrel tile reroof on all nine condominium buildings, neatly placed over a 30-year Polyglass underlayment system. The re-roof project is backed with a Perkins Roofing 10-year warranty and a Polyglass 30-year warranty.
The handmade clay barrel titles, imported from Central America, are backed with a 50-year no fade color warranty. Various challenges faced during this re-roof project were severe weather threats as this was completed during the 2017 Hurricane Season, dealing with unique and delicate work environments as these are high-end condos containing expensive artwork and antiques, and transporting roofing materials via ferry across the waterway to the island.
